2023 WASCOE Convention – April 21, 2023 – Eau Claire
New deadline of April 6th to book your room at the early bird rate of $90 per night!!
The deadline to book your room at the Metropolis at the early bird rate of $90 has been extended until April 6th! Make your hotel reservations soon. The rate will increase after April 6th from $90 to $140 per night + $15.99 resort fee & tax. Call (844) 855-2724 and use block code: WASCOE 2023 Annual Convention.
Waterpark: Passes for Metropolis’ Chaos Waterpark are included with each registered guest for their entire stay. The waterpark’s scheduled hours currently are 4 pm – 9 pm on Thursday, April 20th and from 9 am – 12 pm on Friday, April 21st.
Scholarship Auction: We will be having our annual scholarship auction after the banquet dinner. County Office should be thinking about donating items to the auction to support our member’s children in their quest for furthering their education. Now is a great time to look at those clearance racks and watch for sales! Contact Chris Bast-Pannier at chrisplus3@hotmail.com with any question you may have.
Cash Raffle: The drawing for our cash raffle will be at the banquet. Tickets are $20 each and only 250 will be sold. The proceeds raised from the cash raffle goes into our general operating fund and helps with our general expenses, reimbursement of delegate expenses, quarterly dues to NASCOE, etc. Cash prizes are $1000, $500, $250, $100, $50 x 3! 2023 Midwest Area Rally – April 27-29, 2023 – Grand Rapids, Michigan

MASCOE has released the registration information for the Midwest Area Rally!
Thursday, April 27, 2023: There are two optional tours being offered for those arriving early. They are free of charge, but please note to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants.
- 1:00 pm – Tour of Revolution Farms in Caledonia (Facebook)
- 4:00 pm – Tour of Continental Dairy Facilities LLC (Website or Facebook)
Friday, April 28, 2023: Midwest Area Rally – $65 in advance or $75 at the door
- General session is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Game night from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Saturday, April 29, 2023: Michigan MASCOE State Convention – Cost is included if you are attending the Midwest Area Rally otherwise it is $10 in advance or $15 at the door. The state convention will consist of a business meeting, a speaker, and updates from Michigan State Office employees.
Scholarship Auction: MASCOE is asking each state to bring an item or basket to be auctioned during the MWA Rally on Friday, April 28th. They are also requesting each state bring a $25 gift card for the “Gift Card Basket” which can be won by all bids, including the previous winning bids. Please selected gift cards that can be used no matter where the winner resides. Bids are $20 each and can be purchased along with your registration in advance or at the MWA Rally!
Update: The scholarship auction will be of a drawing for each “basket” or item. So if you win basket 1, your bid will be left out for the drawing of basket 2, basket 3, etc., but when they get to the last basket, the gift card basket, all bids will be entered into the drawing. If you purchase multiple bids, once one of your bids is drawn, it will be left out of any subsequent drawing, but you will still have your other bids left in for any subsequent bids until drawn.
